What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic believes that the body works best when the nervous system is free of damaging interferences, which cause malfunction, symptoms and diseases, and a reduced quality of life. It observes that there are three interferences: physical trauma, emotional stresses, and environmental toxins. One of these interferences is called subluxation. Chiropractors correct subluxation, allowing your nervous system to function more normally, releasing your body’s innate potential to regain health naturally and paving the way for you to experience wellness throughout life.

Canine and Feline Chiropractic

Nervous system dysfunction can demonstrate in many different ways in your small animal companions. Stiffness, pain, decreased range of motion, difficulty walking, and behavioral changes are all signs of nervous system interference. All creatures with a spine can benefit from chiropractic care to avoid disease and degeneration.

Competition dogs to couch cats are all great candidates for chiropractic adjustments. By evaluating symptoms and addressing spinal subluxations, we are able to increase nervous system function and increase your pet’s quality of life.

Equine Chiropractic

Whether your horse participates in dressage, racing, hunter/jumper, or is used for trail riding, their spine is under constant stress. Improper mounting or riding habits, poor saddle fit, or previous injuries may be keeping your horse from peak performance. Poor bio mechanics, lameness, short stride, and other noticeable complaints may be corrected through chiropractic care.

Dr. Hols will combine your horse’s health history, age, activity, and rider to provide the most optimal level of care. Stretches, exercises, and proper saddle fit may be part of a treatment program for your horse.

Animals of All Sizes

From the largest of farm animals to the smallest of pets, we can provide your companions with quality chiropractic care.
